요즘 윈도우즈 애플리케이션 개발에는 정말 다양한 방법들이 있습니다.
전통의 C/C++를 사용하는 Win32 API에서부터 닷넷의 주축이 된 C#, 그리고 JAVA, 웹앱 등을 활용해서 다양한 윈도우 애플리케이션을 개발할 수 있습니다.
저희 팀에서도 공통적으로 여러가지 목적(꼭 개발과 직접 관련된 것이 아니더라도 회사 운영, ERP 자동화 등)을 위해서 윈도우즈 애플리케이션을 개발하는 경우가 종종 있었습니다.
그나마 다행스럽게 팀원 중에 Win32 API, MFC에 경험이 많은 C/C++개발자가 있다면, 간단한 윈도우 애플리케이션은 뚝딱 만들어낼 수 있지만, 그렇지 못한 경우는 C++ 공부하시면 됩니다!
하지만……
위와 같이 C++ 배우기에 실패한 우리들을 위해서 이번 포스팅은 ‘간단한‘ 윈도우 애플리케이션을 개발하기 위해서 C#과 닷넷 환경을 구축할 수 있는 링크들을 소개해드리고자 합니다.
먼저 닷넷 프레임워크와 닷넷코어를 비교할 때 가장 많이 볼 수 있는 그림입니다.
그림에서 추측할 수 있는 사실
1. 일단 무슨 말인지는 모르겠다. 내가 알고 있는 것이 뭔지 모르겠고, 모르겠는 것도 모르겠다.
2. 프레임워크와 코어 모두 스탠다드 라이브러리는 된다.
3. 프레임워크와 코어가 뭔가 다르긴 하다. WPF는 뭐고 UWP는 뭐지?
우린 잘 모르겠으니, 마이크로소프트 공홈의 설명을 살펴봅니다.
큰 차이는 프레임워크는 윈도우 플랫폼을 위한 것, 코어는 멀티플랫폼을 위한 오픈소스 기반이라고 합니다. 그런데 닷넷6가 나온 현재는 Windows, macOS, Linux를 모두 지원하구요, .net Core도 3 버전이 나오면서 WPF를 지원하고 있습니다.
(일단 뭐를 선택하든 이제는 다 된다는 얘기 같습니다.)
그런데 우리 모두의 노트북에는 이미 무거운 많은 것들이 설치되어 있는데, 또 닷넷프레임워크와 비주얼스튜디오를 깔 수는 없습니다.
그래서 우리 노트북에 이미 잘 설치되어 있는 VSCode를 활용하기 위해서, 닷넷코어를 선택합니다!
(사실 닷넷 5 부터는 VSCode에서도 잘 돌릴 수 있는 튜토리얼을 제공하고 있긴합니다.)
어쨌든 우린 상대적으로 가벼운(?) 닷넷코어를 선택할 수 있습니다.
선택의 이점은
1. 이미 VSCode가 있다. (아마도요?)
2. CLI환경이 제공된다.
3. VSCode도 MS, 닷넷도 MS, 런타임도 MS, CLI도 MS. 마이크로소프트 감사합니다.
마소의 닷넷 공식 홈페이지에는 초기 구축에 대한 설명이 정말 잘 되어있습니다.
그리고 우리 착한 개발자님들은 가이드를 잘 읽어보시잖아요?
그럼…
이렇게 공식 홈페이지만 잘 따라하면 10분정도(설치시간 제외)에 헬로월드를 볼 수는 있습니다!
윈도우 환경 시스템이 개인, 팀, 회사에 있고 뭔가 윈도우OS기반의 자동화 S/W를 간단하게 만들어야하는 경우에는 정말 큰 도움이 될 수 있습니다.
저희 팀 같은 경우에는 ERP에서 자동생산되는 파일을 후처리한다든지 하는 경우에 잘 사용하고 있습니다.
개인 환경에서도 Windows OS의 작업스케줄러 등과 연계하면 유용한 작업들을 많이 세팅하실 수 있을겁니다!
